Last night Giants & Unicorns hosted an event, “Real Estate Trends Designed for Migration” at the Alan B. Levan Center of Innovation. Exploring a conversation around how to design and invest for a future where people keep moving to South Florida. The event brought together a savvy group of real estate professionals such as developers, investors, architects, and strategists to have the other side of the conversation, bridging real estate and the tech community.
The night started off with networking, cocktails and delicious bites, as guests mingled, and the room flowed with conversation. Conversations about current projects, future collaborations and next weeks Thanksgiving Dinner plans. Those staying in South Florida may have a side of sunny beach views as they explore real opportunities ahead in developing markets.
Sabina Shuminov and Michael Burtov introduced the next segway of the event: the panel speakers. Moderated by Michael Burtov, the panelists discussed how South Florida can strategically prepare for the next wave of people and companies that maybe relocating to the region. From new residential concepts to what does the employment landscape look like. The four panelists included Noam Ziv, Principal Red-C Group, Doug McCraw Founder of FatVillage Arts District and Co-Founder of IMX3, Ed Shim Managing Partner HLW International, and Michael Szafranski Director Florida Acquisitions Kushner.
The panelists brought unique perspectives to the stage engaging in conversations of innovation, development and expansion.
